Thai Green Chicken Chrry in Business Class on @qantas MEL>SYD - was quite tasty but sauce a bit gluggy. A couple more spoonfuls of greens please 🥬🥦👍
Tip: I only ate the vegetables and chicken with half the rice and sauce. That was enough for me since I tried a small amount of beef bourguignon in the lounge before. Therefore I didn't overeat but got to try a few meals.
Ok so let's look at our first snack - a Lemon Mrytle and Coconut Slice. This was served on a mid-morning @qantas flight.
So what did I think?
❌ Well it is high in energy for a snack
❌ The first ingredient was sugar (meaning there is more sugar than any other ingredient and there is also a second type of sugar in there too)
❌ There isn't much protein in it and there was no info on fibre.
⛔ Also the flavour of the cake was the very last ingredient I.e lemon myrtle - now not sure if you can add much more of that due to it possibly being a very strong flavour, but I just felt out of the long list of ingredients the actual flavour was the least ingredient. (But there was lemon juice further up so maybe the lemon flavour may be coming more from that).
✅ The sodium content was on the low side so that is good.
So for a snack like this nutrition wise I didn't eat it. AND also because I don't like citrus flavoured desserts I also didn't eat it because for me I would not enjoy it and it wasn't really providing me with any nutrition benefit.
