Okay- so now for some ideas to include these fabulous fruits in your day.

- A sprinkle of cinnamon on cooked apple is scrumptious- team it with a scoop of low fat ice cream and you are winning.
- I hear you ask ‘what is a nashi’? A delicious fruit, is a source of vitamin C, folate and antioxidants, and has a long history going back to the ancient emperors of Japan. Something like a pear crossed with an apple, the nashi is very versatile and is great in salads, chutneys or on a cheese platter.
